Why not join us?

The Choral Society is always open to new members, and right now that’s particular true for sopranos and basses. There’s even time for you to join us for the May Music Festival, such a treat! So don’t hesitate, email us, pick up the phone, or sneak into a rehearsal for a closer look.

Speaking of which, the Choir meets for rehearsals on Monday nights at 7.30pm in The Bear Hotel, an old coaching inn at the centre of Crickhowell. Half way through we take a break and it’s not unknown for members to pop down to the Bear’s warm and welcoming bar for some refreshment and even to have a chat; all very pleasant. We finish at around 9.30pm.

All new singers are invited to give us a try for a week or two, followed by a stress free audition. The ability to sight-read is an advantage.
